Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress who is best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Her role was praised by critics as Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her first TV role on CBS soap opera Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life is an autobiography written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Vlas Parlapanides who wrote Immortals who is said to be co-writing the movie adaptation. Also, she is filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
