Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams began her career as a year old within Castle Rock Colorado. Adams began performing and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later The Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined the regional theater located in Minnesota in which she was featured in a mock documentary film about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). After making her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she relocated towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. From June 1951 until September 22, 1962 she was wed to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, who was introduced to her via actor Norma Shearer Leigh signed a agreement with MGM to launch her journey as a film actress in the mid 1940s. The decade following, she appeared in many popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
