Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci at just seven years old. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she was the winner in the year 1970. In 1972, at the communist nations' meet for junior athletes before the Olympics she won three medals of gold. Then in 1973 and '74 she was the all-around junior champ. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals in her first international competition for seniors, held in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an older senior. In 1976, she was the winner of the American Cup at the New York City Olympics. She also became the first woman to ever dismount parallel bars using a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in the entertainment industry as a teenager, when she performed as a figure skating duo with their sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a professional as an entertainer as a teen. In her early years, Carol began as a figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
