Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on 8 August 1976. She was youngest among four kids. Audrey Tautou's parents who are a dental doctor and a school teacher were supportive and encouraged by her early love for drama as well as theatre. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was surpassed by her desire to learn about drama and theater. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift growth in popularity made her a promising young actor. Prior to beginning her acting career, she took part in Jeunes Premiers which was a French talent search TV program sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. Also, she was awarded the the title of Best Young Actress at during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. While she attended The Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from her religious upbringing and has stated that she is not officially Catholic. Apart from her acting profession, she has was also interested in modeling. She modelled of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and has been referred as "The Chanel Muse". She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work for the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. Through her photography, she is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. Cameras are focused on journalists who examined her as she rose to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office success, and received accolades during awards ceremonies across all over the world. It is the top-grossing French film made in America. Following this success Tautou starred in many films including British dramatics like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
